Dear father of Ross (Serena) Pevitz, Chase Pevitz, and Parker (Margret) Pevitz. Proud grandfather of Ellis and Everett Pevitz. I met Henry when we were about twenty. Over the years, our friendship grew. Over the years, we had the honor of hosting him for Pesach and Rosh Hashanah.
Personally, when I went to purchase my second home, I needed an additional $25,000 to qualify for the mortgage. Henry told me that he'd loan me $25,000 until a second mortgage could be put in place. Without Henry, I would have never been able to afford that mortgage.
He was always a good friend, and I will miss him.

Henry was a good friend and fun to be with. At A1 Mortgage I was his Personal Assistant. He had what I called the Magic Drawer we would laugh at what he put in there. I saw him the day before he moved. I will miss him very much.

My heart is breaking, Henry blew his shofar for me last night. He was wonderful to me. I will mourn him forever. He adored his family and did not want to hurt them.

It’s so hard to say goodbye to such a special friend as Henry. We’ve been friends since high school and have
shared so much despite the fact that I moved to Boston. If I looked up the word “mensch” in the dictionary, I would expect to see Henry’s picture. He was a man of integrity, a caring and generous person and he loved his family and friends more than anything. I will always remember his beautiful smile, infectious laugh and zest for life. I will miss you dearly California Kid.

So sorry for all of our loss. Henry’ mother, Trudy, z”l, was Barry’s first cousin. Henry always greeted us with that special smile of his. We were able to livestream the funeral from Denver. We hope your sweet memories bring you some comfort. He will be missed.

I got to know Henry very well when he lived next door to me for two years at Amli Apartments & he joined the BJBe temple recently & I would see him at Friday night services. I checked up on him frequently. I will miss him terribly.
