Beloved wife of the late Edward l. Shworles, Jr. Devoted mother of Robin Graham. Cherished sister of the late Marvin (the late Sheila) Cohen. Dear aunt of Michael Cohen, Allison (Jeff) Dunn and the late Dale Cohen. Fond cousin of Rachel (Ryan) Weber and Andrew (Kim) Bauman. Funeral Service and Thursday, 1:00pm at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road, (one block North of Lake Cook Rd.) Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom Cemetery. I loved being with Arlene. She was such an energetic and positive woman. I feel blessed my dear friend Robin gave me the opportunity to meet and get to know her beautiful Mom. I will always cherish memories of Arlene. May she rest in peace and have a blast in Heaven.

Arlene was my oldest friend. We met at Von Steuben High School. I remember riding in her father’s Lincoln Continental and honking at boys. After her husband died we went on cruises together.. I remember all the fun we had throughout our lives. I will miss you Lenie.

Arlene you and Ed were cherished members of our family. You are both with us at the biggest events of our lives and being there meant the world to us. So many good memories with you, your mum and grandma.
