Dear Barbara, Talia, Ronen, Dima, Amy, and extended family,
I’m so sorry that I cannot make the trip to Chicago to honor Yossi in person at his memorial service and burial. As you may already know, Yossi was a guiding light to me in a multitude of ways from a very young age until now. He was both tough as nails and sweet as honey - all at the same time and always in a good way and with good intention. He was a teacher, a mentor, and a father figure to me. I can’t imagine the pain you are feeling at this moment. His passing is a big loss for everyone who had the bracha of knowing him. His memory will certainly be for a blessing.
Hamakom yenachem etchem betoch she’ar avelay tzion Vi’rushalayim. May you each find comfort in the place you are in with G-d, among family and friends, and among the rest of us who are mourning the passing of Yossi’s soul to olam haba.

Love,
Benji
