Beloved husband of Myra nee Lampert. Loving father of Ari (Myfanwy Callahan, MD) Herbstman and Yael (Andy Corn) Herbstman. Proud papa of Viola, Miranda, Archie and Adira. Dear son of the late Julius and the late Fay Herbstman. Cherished brother of Arthur (Annlee) Herbstman, Bryna (Alan) Plofker and Paulette (Sandy Sloane) Herbstman. I remember Larry fondly from Bryn Mawr School, South Shore High School and South Side Hebrew Congregation. From the picture posted here I see that his winning smile remained with him throughout life.

I have fond memories of chatting with Larry at Pesach celebrations at the home of Julius & Faye in Skokie. Although we only met a couple of times, I thought him a very kind man. My condolences to the family.
