Gitta Fajerstein nee Horowitz, age 94.

Beloved wife of the late Sam Fajerstein and the late Oscar Walchirk. Dear mother of Ronald M. (Kyla) Fajerstein, Daniel E. (Victoria) Fajerstein, and the late Rebecca J. (Michael) Bier. Proud grandmother of Rachel (Roey), Brittany (Joel), Arielle (Jon), Adina (Marie-Luise), Sasha (Matthew), Sam, Jacob, and Aviah. Great-grandmother to Connor, Judah, Elan, Charlie, Orly, Jack, Noam, Max, Henry, Thomas, and Everest. Cherished sister of Chaya (the late Walter) Roth. Treasured aunt of Ari (Katie), Judy (Steve), and Miriam (Mark). Service Thursday 1PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I absolutely adored your mom, who didn't? She was kind and warm, intelligent and interesting, graceful and lovely. What a strong spirit and incredible woman.
She will be greatly missed. My condolences to you all, I knew her from Beth Hillel days and through her friendship with my mother, Edith Teibloom.
