Your father and family shared a personal connection with my family through Temple Judea, Thanksgiving retreats, etc. For both my dad, Karl, and my mom, Eva had a personal relationship with your dad. I remember your families participation in Thanksgiving retreats. At a point in my own life where I was figuring out what I wanted to do, your dad took time to sit with me and explore options. The way Gerry was described at the funeral service about when he did "one to ones" with family members was very similar to the time he offered me.

I truly hope that his memory will be a blessing for all who experienced him.
