Beloved husband of Joyce Zletz.
Loving father of Elyn (Jim Vanek) Koentopp - Vanek, Marc (Olga Silva - Zletz) Zletz, Robin (Murray) Manus, Adam (Julie Shufro) Zletz. Cherished grandfather of Sam (Katie), Danny (Anjuli), Jesse, Gabe (Peggy), Dan (fiancé Amy), Veronica, Alexia (Jason) and Peter.Great-grandfather of Maizie, Lena, Maya, Vance, Charlie, Louie and Vinnie. He was a PhD Research Chemist, a pioneer in polypropylene research and a holder of more than 42 patents related to petroleum products. He proudly served his country during WWII.Service Sunday 2:00 pm at Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, (JRC) 303 Dodge Ave., Evanston. Interment Private.
