Of course I loved Aunt Rosie and have so many, many wonderful memories. One of my favorite was this: Although I've seen her many times when I was visiting Chicago, I loved that she was so peppy in her mid 90s. She got on the plane by herself and flew to Las Vegas to stay with me for several days. She did not want to stay at home. We toured the city quite a bit and, although I got her a wheel chair, we went to an art show, museum, casinos and restaurants. I was much more tired than she was. I probably slept late each morning after a tiring outing. But she was up at the crack of down, drinking her coffee and reading the newspaper. One morning I looked all over the house and could not find her. Finally I went out on the patio and called her name. She answered "I'm over here." I walked to the side of the yard, behind the spa and saw her lying in the hammock and reading the paper. I was shocked to discover that she was only wearing pants and, but for that she was naked. It gave me a good laugh -- and a great story. Bless her.

I grew up with aunt Rose. I have so many fond memories of her. She would play the piano and I played the triangle. So much fun. Aunt Rose always wore hats and I drew pictures all the time of her wearing hats. Mostly I remember sleeping over at uncle Phil's and aunt Roses and never wanting to go home. I haven't seen her in many years. I miss her
