Bertram "Budd" Oif, 89.
Beloved husband of the late Rhoda B. Oif, nee Brown. Loving father of Janice (Tony) Bartczak, David (Maureen) Oif and Leslie Oif. Proud grandfather of Alex, Ian, Eleanor, Nate, Leo and Charlotte. Dear brother-in-law of Martha (Franklin) Mills and beloved uncle to many. Service Monday, 1:00 pm at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Rosehill Cemetery. Both Rhoda and Budd Oif were special friends to me and my husband. Our lives were surely enriched when we became friends many years ago while they wintered in Scottsdale, AZ. They were both the most honest, genuine, loving and giving people we could have ever met and gotten to know over the years. They truly became like family to us. Their spirits will live on as well as the wonderful memories of times spent together. Sincerest condolences to their beautiful children--some of whom we met and enjoyed being a part of their lives. I am very sad today, but know that Rhoda, Budd and my dear husband, Albert are probably making new memories in their afterlife. Someday I will join them and my life will again be complete!

It has been many years, but Buddy was in many ways responsible for my going into the hosiery business, back in 1960's. He was our rep (with Jerk Socks) and when they had no openings, suggested I contact Gilbert-Foot-Fashion. He even gave me the reference that got me the job and taught me how to do the best for my clients. A true Mensch

Dear Martha & Frank, Janice, Leslie & Dave, I can't believe I'm a week late checking for Buddy's services which were last Monday. I'm looking today find time & place. Well, my best love and sympathy to all of you. I feel awful about this. No one told me the service was so soon. I'm so sorry not to have been with you to honor Buddy. We'll all remember him.
I wonder if you feel like I do, now Rho & Buddy are together again. Much love to all, Carol
