I have known Muriel almost 60 years, partly growing up in her home through my friendship with Michael.
Later, she and Ed also became good friends with my parents. Most recently I had an opportunity to spend time with her during her rehab stays at the nursing facility. Her ability to repeatedly recover from significant illness was remarkable and a testimony to her courage, determination and drive for independence. But even more important than these values was the pride she took as she spoke to me of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will always appreciate her kindness and the interest that she took in my life. I will miss her.....
