Linda Sue Portnoy, nee Borak, age 75.
Beloved wife for 53 years of Alan. Loving mother of Julie (Alex) Gaytan and Dayna Portnoy. Proud grandmother of Adrian, Eli, Sam and Bennett. Dear sister of Jon Borak the late Nancy (Jay) Strauss. Cherished daughter of the late Carl H. and Jeanette Borak. Fond sister-in-law of the late Marshall (Gloria) Portnoy. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Past president of Wilmette Junior High PTA and very active in Y-ME. The family is very grateful to her caregiver Lillian Mbata and everyone at Journey Care. Service Monday 12 Noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. I am so sorry to hear about Linda. I have so many happy memories of her at our salon and our many wonderful conversations She had a fun sense of humor and always s pleasure to work with. It has been an honor to know her and I share your loss. You will have a lifetime of happy memories including the fact that you all were so devoted to her and her care.
