Claudia Flack nee Eisen, age 60

Beloved wife of Stuart. Loving mother of Nathaniel and Caleb. Dear sister of Amy (Ken) Krupsky and Elizabeth Eisen. Devoted daughter of the late Charles and the late Sylvia. Fond aunt of Rachel Krupsky, Lydia Toppston, Eli Barr, and Leah Barr. Service Friday 10AM at Temple Beth Israel, 3601 W. Dempster Street, Skokie. Interment Westlawn. A celebration of Claudia’s life and music will be held in May at Ganz Hall, Roosevelt University. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Merit School of Music, www.meritmusic.org where Claudia was a longtime piano teacher. I did not know Claudia. But I had the privilege of working with her son Caleb for a year. She must've been a wonderful lady because she has an amazing son.

Being Caleb's peer my interactions with Claudia were brief but consistent - I recall a quiet confidence. I saw a good person and the same positive qualities in her sons. To the Flack family you are in our hearts.

I knew Claudia in New york when Nathaniel was very young my son Rasheed and I extend our condolences to the Flack family. So sorry for your lost, you are in our thoughts.

I had the privilege of supporting Claudia for a year while I was an administrative assistant at McKinsey. Claudia was a smart and interesting person and was always kind, thoughtful and courteous in all of our work together. I'm thankful that I knew her.

I wish that I had known Claudia personally. I am fortunate to know her spirit through her wonderful son Caleb who I am sure reflects her. Claudia leaves lasting memories for all who knew her. May these memories bring comfort. In that, Claudia lives always.

Her patience, knowledge, and dedication to her students did not go unnoticed.

I had the privilege to have one joint concert with Claudia's students and mine last May. Her optimism and enthusiasm for every student's performance was a inspiring example for me at the beginning of my teaching career. Thank you Claudia for setting the bar high.
