I am a cousin of Arthur's. My maiden name is Robbins. Sending you our deepest condolences to you and your family. I found this post purely by accident but I am so glad I did. I have heard what a wonderful young woman Shana was and pray that all the fond memories you have will help you through this very difficult time.

Shana was my best friend in graduate school for Counseling Psychology at Northwestern. She was also so much more- a confidant, a “nudger”, fellow bead enthusiast and a role model for being an involved parent and spouse. We got to share good times and hard times in 11 years of friendship. I miss her wry smile and lift of the eyebrow when she was about to speak the truth in love. She was the best encourager I know. All those who knew Shana were blessed by her humor, wisdom and quiet badassery.
Your memory and life are blessings beyond measure.
My love and condolences to Mat, Aviva, and Liora, and the rest of her family.

I knew Shana as an acquaintance from grad school at Northwestern. She was a year ahead of me, and when I graduated and struggled to find my first job, she responded to an inquiry at Bridge. She welcomed me, showed me around, told me about the openings, gave me a sense of relief that one day soon I would get my start as a Therapist, and that if anything opened up at Bridge, she would contact me. I never forgot how kind and warm she was to me that day, despite not knowing her well. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers to her family.
