Rabbi Shapiro was my teacher at the Chicago Jewish Academy in the mid 50s. He was an inspiring Chumash teacher. When I became a patient of his son, Dr. Michael Shapiro, memories of his classes came back to me. He was a teacher I will always remember. May he be a "gutte beter" for clal Yisroel.
