Condolences, Matlin family. I have many vague memories of short stays and sleepovers at the Matlin house (55-60 years ago) when my mother was out-of-town. But I have very clear memories that such visits were highly anticipated and always great fun. Most of that was Libby — with her warmth, wisdom, and humor, a perfect mother away from mother! Apples and the rest of the gang rocked too. Her memory WILL be for a blessing.

To the entire Marlin Family:
I was so sad to hear the news about Libby passing. I loved her. I took care of her a few days a week when she lived at The Lincolnwood Place. IT was SO MUCH FUN to be in Libby's company. We had each other laughing all the time. Oh, did Libby love the trips to the dollar store! I'm very happy to have had this special relationship with her when she knew who I was. We met years in Florida as Etta & Larry are my parents. Libby & Don shared the same pool &lived next door. My name is Janice-it was a blessing to have spent this personal & special time with Libby before she was MOVED.
I did visit-Libby didn't know me-yet STILL SO SWEET! I know so much about all of you. WOW! SHE TRULY LOVED HER FAMILY WITH ALL HER HEART & SOUL.
Thanks for allowing me to express my feelings. May Libby's memory be a smiling blessing on your hearts to all that loved her!
And Don too. Sending you love, prayers & peacefulness.

As always,
With Love, Janice & my boys-Brandon & Zack Igra
