OBITUARY

Bernard Shuman, 89.
Beloved husband and partner in crime for 58 years of Arlene Shuman. Loving father of Jan Shuman and Julie (Ben) Rubin. Extremely proud grandfather of Zachary and Mitchell Rubin. Cherished brother of the late Chuck Shuman. Bernie was proud to be a Chicago Police Officer for more than 38 years. He also served in the United States Army. Bernie had a way with people. He was warm, funny, kind, positive, honest and passionate. He never met a stranger. Most of all he loved his family. Private graveside services were held. Worked with Bernie in MAIS great guy and friend help me many times when I was bogged down with work and always
had a smile and a good/great story. He may be gone but I'll always remember him.
