Lyle, Susan, and Andy, we are so sorry for your loss. Your mom hosted MANY Encounter meetings! I still tell people about the shirt she made for Lyle that said "NO" in many different languages!

Barbara was a funny, warm, kind and thoughtful person. I got to know her in the last year of Wendy Larksâ?? life and the years following her passing.
She was such a funny, kind, and thoughtful person. She had a special way of making people understand that you mattered to her.

She was someone who made you a better person just by knowing her. I always admired her ability to persevere, even when life kept dishing up challenges for her. She knew what mattered (family and friends,) and she made those her priority.

I will be keeping the whole Deckowitz family in my prayers. In spite of the pain of your loss, I hope you will also find memories that make you laugh or smile remembering how much joy and love she brought to your lives. She was truly a remarkable woman.
