Adrienne and I were both saddened to hear of Mark's passing. May his memory be for a blessing.

My words will fail to adequately express the deep loss I feel at this moment.  Mark was one of the purest and sweetest souls I have ever known in our over 50 years of friendship and more.  He had an enormous heart and generosity of spirit.  I never knew him to judge another harshly, he always gave those he loved the benefit of doubt even when they may not have deserved it.  He was built that way, his heart always remained open.  I am grateful to have known him and I'm hoping at this moment he is reunited with beloved Jack, Annette and Sherry.   It must have been difficult for him to have known so much love and support as a family and then have to endure the void in his life created by their absence.   I love you Mark, Always & All ways  I'll be playing Please Come to Boston for you.  Pfeffer..."I miss your face"  xx

I am so saddened to hear of my cousin Mark's passing. He was always eager to stay in touch, with a strong sense of family. He was so attached to his family that he kept his New York accent despite living in California and Chicago for most of his life!
His memory will be as a blessing.

I do not know if this will reach you as it’s been so long since Mark’s passing. Was watching tv, saw an advertisement for hoarders, decided to look up Mark and the PARC. I am saddened to see this obituary. I worked with Sherry and Annette about 30 years ago and continued on with Mark. The Pfeffers were wonderful, loving people who made me feel like family. David and Stephen, my best to both of you. Mark always kept me up on your lives. You were the pride of the family. I hope you both always feel the love of your mom, grandparents, and uncle.
Nancy, my sympathies to you also. We meet only once but Mark’s stories about you were always happy ones.
