OBITUARY
Sandy Cohen nee Corren, age 79.
Beloved wife of Shelly Cohen. Dear mother of Julie (Hal) Theobald and Greg (Marci) Cohen. Proud “Grammie” of Lexie, Wendy, Monica, Brett, and Eliana. Cherished sister of Eunice (Perry) Goldberg and sister-in-law of Harvey Cohen (Janice Alpert), Gigi Cohen (Michael Levin), and the late Rusty (Rhonda) Cohen. Fond aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Sandy was married to her beloved Shelly for 58 years. Along with their friends, they began the Children’s Research Guild, raising funds for Children’s Memorial Hospital through creative events like treasure hunts. She served the community as the President of the BJBE Sisterhood. She also founded her own stationery business, Novelty Notes, where she designed personalized notepads and invitations. Sandy loved cards, games, shopping, and gift-giving. Her grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy; she always looked forward to their activities and milestones.
