Cherished sister of Eunice (Perry) Goldberg and sister-in-law of Harvey Cohen (Janice Alpert), Gigi Cohen (Michael Levin), and the late Rusty (Rhonda) Cohen. Fond aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Sandy was married to her beloved Shelly for 58 years. Along with their friends, they began the Children’s Research Guild, raising funds for Children’s Memorial Hospital through creative events like treasure hunts. She served the community as the President of the BJBE Sisterhood. She also founded her own stationery business, Novelty Notes, where she designed personalized notepads and invitations. Auntie Sandy and I bonded as we traveled to China and the Philippines over 20 years ago. We spent every waking moment together shopping, eating, and sometimes joining the men with business. Auntie Sandy was so friendly, loving, and interested in what’s going on in your life. Another memory is when Auntie Sandy came over to my house and taught me how to make the Cohen brisket.
Love you Auntie Sandy ❤️😔

Sandy was the sweetest, kindness, most thoughtful and caring person I have had the pleasure to know and love. She was always interested in what was going on with those she loved…always asking me about my family in California knowing if they were doing well so was I. I will miss her fun personality, her creative mind, and of course her brisket at our Cohen family holiday gatherings. She was a wonderful wife, mom, Grammy, sister in law and friend. I will miss her ❤️😢🙏
