David Brussell, age 69

Loving brother of Laura Faye Brussell, Judith Ellen (David Moulton) Brussell, and Joel Owen (Melissa Dittmann) Brussell. Devoted son of the late Judge Abraham W. Brussell and the late Shirley R. Brussell. David spent 35 years working for Cook County, at City Hall and Stroger Hospital as an assistant engineer. He was known by his co-workers to be exceptionally hard working, respectful of everyone, unbelievably kind, funny, and an avid reader of the sciences: from medicine and physiology to astronomy and physics. Devoted and fiercely loyal to family and friends. David was a great man in a quiet way. Service Wednesday 2PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie.
