OBITUARY

Eleanor Weiss Zoub, 94, passed away peacefully at home.
Ellie was born on February 14, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY., to Albert and Sarah Milstine. She married Marvin A. Weiss, MD, in 1950 and they settled in Lincolnwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin A. Weiss in 1980, her husband Burton Zoub in 2018 and her sister Mildred Feldman in 2018. She was a lifelong member of Hadassah and ORT America, serving as president of the Orchard Chapter in 1965. She is survived by her sons, Ronald (the late Wendy), Carey (Karen) and David (Maggie) Weiss. She was grandmother to Marcus (Becca) Weiss and Brandon (Andrea Fischlowitz) Weiss; Andrea (Philip) Armour, Jesica (Daniel Pelczar), Justin Weiss, and Lexi Weiss; and Matthew (Mika) Weiss and Daniel Weiss. She was especially fond of her 6 great grandchildren; Mika and Felix Weiss, Layla and Juliana Armour, and Jack and Sloane Weiss. Special thanks to Ellie’s long-term caregiver, Chantey Ramsey. Service Tuesday, 2:00 pm at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (one block North of Dempster St.) Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. To view the funeral online, please visit our website.
