Alan and I send our deepest condolences to all of the family on the passing of Daniel.
We have so many wonderful memories of the Shabbats spent with your wonderful family and sharing in smachot with all of you at your weddings and many happy occasions and Yom Tovim and even seeing the love and strength given to your parents when they went through their very tough years of illness. Andi, you and Daniel were her rocks and your children.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we wish no more pain and sorrow for all of you.
Fondly,

My old friend, Dan, was one of the largest people I ever had the honor to know. Large in personality, large in love, large in voice, large in laugh. I hadn’t seen Dan in a good while but just seeing one picture makes him return to me in a flood. A large, warm, happy flood.

Daniel, I will miss your warm smile and kind heart, your sense of balance for what is important in life, and your gentle soul. You were ideological yet practical too, and always put what you thought was in the best interests of your family first. I am sorry for not always being there for you the way I should have and I'm grateful we got to reconnect since you found out you were sick.

Even when you were sick, you were thinking about the return of the hostages and fighting for them in your prayers with your entire being in a way only people who know you can understand. This was so much part of your Neshama that you were one of the great fighters spiritually that helped bring them home. I have no doubt that your mesirash nefesh for Am Yisrael took a toll on your beautiful soul. You are my brother in arms, Achi, but also my cousin and I can't wait to be reunited with you one day in Yerushalayim. I hope to be close to you many more times in this lifetime through your family in this lifetime and by staying connected to you always. You have a special neshama that flickers so beautifully, tough and gentle at the same time. I really love you and miss you. Jonathan
