Devoted son of the late Sidney and Miriam nee Branovitch and Judith Baitcher nee Sacks. Loving brother of Neal (Eileen) Baitcher. Dear uncle of Jonathan (the late Krystina) and the late David. Great-uncle to Kaylie and Stella. Service Sunday, 3:00 pm at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment private. Howard and I met in college about 1962, we sort of ran in the same circles and grew to enjoy each other's company. Over the years we went our own ways but would occasionally visit each other for short periods of time. Our last encounter was via email when he told me something of his family life which, for some reason hadn't come up before. He was a good friend, I loved him and will miss him.
