I know Jerry as the Poker Czar at The Carrington. He organized the twice-weekly poker game that he ran with steady and resourceful direction. He had a booming voice, and, although at times he may have seemed on the surface to be grumpy, he was underneath a genial companion. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.

I have been a resident of the Carrington for two years and was introduced to Jerry shortly after I arrived as the Poker "Guy" and began playing in HIS twice a week game which he ran as he would say, "it's my game and I make the rules" which he dd. As a larger than life physical presense that's the way he was as an individual. He will be missed by all who knew him.
