Mary Lewis, nee Medwedowsky, age 99, of Highland Park, formerly of Skokie, born in Ukraine and raised for 7 years as a child refugee with her parents in an airplane hangar in South Hampton, England. Beloved wife of the late Jerome “Jerry” Lewis; devoted mother of Madeline (Alan) Kaplan and Donna (Jeffrey) Porter; cherished grandmother of Hayley (Jeremy Massey) Kaplan and Shale (Mollie) Kaplan; sister of Ruth (the late Joel) Laufer; sister-in-law of Amelia (the late Robert) Flink and the late Shirley (the late “Philly”) Malkin; aunt of Sheri Laufer, Jay Malkin, Randy (Paige) Flink, Stewart (Jennifer) Flink and the late Sheri Malkin. Graveside service Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:30 AM, Sunset Memorial Lawns Cemetery, 3100 Shermer, Northbrook. In-person attendees fully vaccinated and masked please.
