Eileen Beth Kletnick

OBITUARY
Eileen Beth Kletnick, age 73 died on Sunday, February 8, 2026 after a series of surgeries and hospitalizations. Eileen was the wife of Paul Neyhus and had lived on the North Side of Chicago. She was the daughter of Daniel Kletnick and Estelle Kletnick (nee Einhorn) and the sister of Harold Kletnick, Tova Narrett, and Ruth Kletnick. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Jonathan S. Kletnick and by her husband, Paul Neyhus.
Eileen was born in Chicago in 1952 and grew up in the southern Chicago suburb of Park Forest, attending local public schools, including Rich East High School. She also attended the University of Chicago. She was employed in several positions in the financial services industry in Chicago. Her interests included classical music, opera, and travel. She particularly enjoyed summer concerts at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park and at Lyric Opera in Chicago. Eileen also enjoyed the variety of international and ethnic foods available in the Chicago area at restaurants and stores.
