Edwin Levinson, 98. US Army Veteran of WWII and Korea. Beloved husband of the late Helen, nee Weinstein. Loving father of Dr. Judith Levinson (Lawrence Rose) and Dr. Michael (Sue) Levinson. Proud grandfather of Lisa (Jeff) Orschel and Emily Rose, Hilary Levinson (Stephen Wade) and Margy Levinson. Cherished great grandfather of Jackson, Louis and Hana. Dear brother of the late Shirley (the late Seymour) Shiner. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Service Thursday, 10 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. So sorry to hear of your fathers passing. He was a strong force in our once very large family. His research and written words will forever be handed down for generations. Thanks to our cousin Joan who is working hard to continue his work.
