Pearl Reiger was an extraordinary woman who assisted countless children and their families. She helped train two generations of sensitive clinicians to discover the hidden interactions of brain development and educational processes. Her empathy and respect for all who consulted her, received her services, and the children she tested made her a legend in our field. Over decades of experiences with Pearl, she made each encounter special. What a special woman she was and a blessing to us all!

Dear Newmans & Riegers:

I am saddened to hear of Pearl's passing. She and my mother, Lois, and my mother-in-law, Sandy Marks, were longtime friends and colleagues. My wife and I also consulted Pearl about our son who was helped by her during a difficult time.

I hope you can take comfort in the many, many people who were helped by her dedication and wisdom.

What a wonderful human being has left us?!! Not really left us, as all of you who participated in the lovely service stated, Pearl and her great example will be with all of us - always.

It has been a pleasure to be part of her life, going back to Michae Reese days, and through the years with Mitch (who Ken and I knew before he met Pearl!). Purely social interaction, except for a small glitch with our son Ken in 1977, but then professional assistance with our grandson Ken at the age of 3. We referred to Pearl as his "Fairy Godmother" who sreered him in the right direction through school years to college!

Pearl's friendship with me flourished over the years - even in Naples in winter!
I will miss her, but am so glad to have such wonderful, loving memories of our times together.
Thank you for the perfect service you delivered in her honor - she would be proud!
