Dear Barbara's family,
I can't even count the many many years we have been together at Schechter, Beth El and beyond. Your mom has been with us for the long haul!
We've been a part of each others lives for so many events and activities. It's hard to believe that your mom will be with us in spirit only.
Please know that from your house near the small Schechter to now, I will have her in my heart.
With love, Joyce Kamen

Dear Stern family,
I am deeply saddened by the passing of your beloved Mom and my dear friend, Barbara.
She has been part of my life for many many years. We celebrated lots of good times together.from Schechter
To Bar/Bar mitzvahs to weddings…. what a wonderful trip it has been.
In recent years since I stopped driving, many times she was my chauffeur and we had lots of laughs together.
I know these past few months have been very difficult for her,.We talked almost every day and , my heart went out to her for all the pain she suffered.
She’s no longer in pain and hopefully having ice cream with your dad.
May her memory be for a blessing.
Much love to all of you,
Gloria

On no, sorry to hear this- didn't realize she was sick the past many weeks- we met many years ago at NSSBE and we had a great time in a Women's Investment club, too. I made a connection to her as we both sew, though I was not in her league- She made so many beautiful pieces. I will miss her smile, good humor, fun and engaging personality. May her memory always be for a blessing and I was honored to be considered one of her friends. Larry too shares in the family's grief in her passing. Hamakom Y'nachem. . . So sad at the passing of this very sweet, kind, gentle synagogue friend of many decades. She and all of us Beth El old-timers have long missed Harold, and now Barbara is also gone. She lived a good life, and will be sorely missed by many.

Deeply sorry for the loss of your lovely mother and grandmother. She was always there with a cheerful Shabbat Shalom and with a warm interest in what was going on in our lives.
