Funeral Details

After 94 years of living, Marcia Zelda Mark (Aunt Marcia), peacefully closed her eyes on August 25, 2026, and went to rejoin her beloved parents Aron and Esther (Superfine) Mark, and her dear sisters, Hannah (Max) Slater, Charlotte (Harry Dreyfuss, Joe Bernstein) Bernstein, and Leona (Harold) Klesman. Everyone Marcia met became a friend. But, she will forever be remembered as a deeply devoted aunt who never forgot a birthday and cherished her family above all else. She truly loved her role as aunt and is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews: Rose (the late David) Morowitz, Meryl ( the late Leonard) Levitz, Judy (Gary) Galluzzo, Linda (Bill) Hildebrand, Harlan (Roberta) Bernstein, Norris (Charlotte) Klesman, Randy (Amy Steckel) Bernstein, and Kathy Webster (the late Mark) Klesman. She was preceded in death by her beloved nephews, David Bernstein and Mark Klesman, and her great-niece, Kami Santana. Her legacy of love lives on through her 20 great-nieces and great-nephews and their 13 spouses, and 23 great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Waldheim Cemetery (Telzer Section), 1700 Harlem Avenue, North Riverside, IL 60546.
