OBITUARY

Elaine Druckman, nee Tucker, age 85. Beloved wife of the late Melvin “Mel” D. Druckman. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Jennifer Johnson) Druckman, Randy (Jennifer) Druckman, Stacy Druckman and Lara (Joe) Cummings. Proud grandmother of Kelsey (Anton) Becker, Dustin (Braden Crouse) Druckman, Chase Cummings, Margaux Cummings, Sophie Druckman, and Addie Druckman. Adored great grandmother of Miles, April and Melanie Becker. Dear sister of Steven Tucker and Dennis (Nancy) Tucker.
Elaine will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of family, and the joy she found in time spent with friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought Elaine endless joy and so many of her happiest smiles. SWEL (Senior Women Enjoying Leisure) meant so much to Elaine, and as chairman of the Card Party committee, she took great pride in bringing people together for friendship, fun, and community. She especially enjoyed mahjong, canasta, card parties, theatre, puzzles, shopping, and always having her nails and hair done, with purple being her favorite color. Known lovingly as “Lainers” and “Nana,” she leaves behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704,Hagerstown,MD 21741, www.cancer.org or Toys for Tots,

Sending my condolences to Elaine’s family, she shopped at my store frequently and no matter what she was going through, she always had her makeup on, dressed beautifully and a smile on her face. My sincere condolences to you, Steven and Dennis as well as all of Elaine's beautiful family. The ceremony was a tribute to a truly delightful person who unfortunately I had not seen for too many years. The delight of Elaine's legacy was shown through merely listening to her very close and loving family. May Elaine rest in peace.

When we moved into our Lake+House apartment, Elaine and Mel were the first to welcome us, bringing us a coffee cake to enjoy in our new apartment. We enjoyed our many interactions with both of them and later with Elaine. We often met Elaine in the garage, where we shared stories and caught up with happenings. We miss seeing Elaine's car in her parking space and it is an ever present reminder of her lively spirit and graciousness.

Our deepest condolences to all that knew and loved Elaine.
Len and I had the pleasure of seeing her and Mel 11 yrs.ago when we were in Chicago.
Since then, we texted on occasion.
Being cousins, but being 12 yrs.apart made a world of difference when we were kids. But I'm so glad that we reconnected a few yrs.ago.
Sincerely, Cousin Pam,and Len.
