Beloved father of Harry Nathan Gottlieb, Anne (Robert Pemberton) Gottlieb, Tom (Jane Parris) Gottlieb and stepfather of Elizabeth Schwartz, Jeremy (Marta) Schwartz and Richard (Leah) Schwartz. Proud grandfather of Louis and Moses. Dear brother of the late Joan Gottlieb. Former husband of Caryn (Larry) Straus and Diane Gottlieb and father-in-law to Brenda Fowler.

Roy David Gottlieb, the real estate broker, advisor and developer, thoroughbred horse breeder, tennis player, hunter, cowboy, dog-lover, downhill skier, water skier, golfer, playboy, entrepreneur, problem-solver, screenplay writer, investor, chess player, movie-lover, chocoholic, ice cream aficionado, exuberant mentor, dedicated friend, fiercely loyal ex-husband twice over, and endlessly supportive father and grandfather whose love was extreme in both abundance and its complete lack of conditions… decided after almost 89 years, that he had finished drinking every day of life to its fullest, that his legacy here on earth was complete and that his services were now needed in the world to come!
