Ira Pogodin, loving husband of 36 years to Kathleen nee Drwila. Devoted father of Susanne Martini and Terri (Roger)n Shiley. Proud Grandfather of Deanna, Matt and Faith. Dear brother of Arlyne Pogodin. He loved sharing his love for sports with his family and was a great fan of both the Blackhawks and the Cubs. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the interment service will be private. May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time. Ira and I knew one another at a time in our lives when we were teenagers. We dated a few times. He was full of energy, smiles and laughter. Rest in peace Ira.
