In Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 92, my very close friend, co-worker, teacher, and mentor Valentin Kotlyar passed away. He was very talented and well recognized engineer and designer. Everyone who knew Valentin, relatives, friends, and colleagues loved him for his kindness, optimism, great Jewish patriotism, knowledge in history, arts and literature, and wonderful human qualities. He will always be missed and is a great loss for all of us. We will always remember and love our Valechka.
