I didn't know Marshall personally, but I'm in the same Nursing Home that Marshall was in. I'm on the same floor that his wife Paula is in.
My sympathy to Paula and Family. May he Rest In Peace.

Hi Drues Family.

Thank you for making this video available so we could be there in spirit if not in person. Seeing you both in Glenview at the nursing home was important to us and we are glad we had th ortunity to visit with you both. Corky (Marshall) as I knew him since first grade at Roosevelt Grammar School was very much a part of my life and he will be greatly missed. My last personal encounter with him when he was the healthy corky was when we both went to see the Pear Fishers Opera at the Evanston Theater. Corky loved opera and this was one of his favorites even though it was not the Ring Cycle, which he would always talk to me about and seeing the entire cycle..

I could write all day about AZA , BBG and Sunday School and the pictures I have of the graduation Sunday School Class and also my DVD's of my 60th Birthday Party
which you both attended and also our get together with Suzie's Children. Finally, Corky and I were counselors at his relatives Summer Camp and what an experience with the so called director, owner.who believed the best thing about the food at the camp is its color. Like Corky, going to camp as a child for 8 weeks away I was not happy and we volunteerred to become the Camp Director having the experience of being a camp coumselor and Corky was perfect as the Water Safety Instructor while I also taught land sports and kept the younger counselors away from the older girls. No Summer Romances were allowed! Corky probably has told you about that experience. He was a good true and honest friend
and may his memory be a blessing. Again thank you for this opportunity to be with your family and friends by watching this video.
