Chicago Jewish Funerals was created to provide a highly personal funeral service to the Jewish community. And the community responded.
Today, Jewish families in Chicago and suburbs come to Chicago Jewish Funerals because of our compassionate, attentive service and our sensitivity to the strong traditions of the Jewish faith.
We are the only independently-owned, full-service Jewish funeral service in the area. We are neither affiliated with, nor a subsidiary of any national funeral corporation. Our independence allows us to help families arrange a funeral that best meets their needs and respond to their specific traditions.

In August 1997, David Jacobson established Chicago Jewish Funerals because he believed there was a need for a highly personalized funeral service for the Jewish community. A funeral service that would be as attentive to the bereaved as it was to the strong traditions of the Jewish faith.
Chicago Jewish Funerals (CJF) is the only independently-owned, full-service Jewish funeral home that offers extensive pre-planning assistance. Services may be held in the Buffalo Grove Chapel, at the graveside, or in your synagogue.
