Beloved husband of the late Shifra . Loving father of Boris (Asya) Litvin and Dr. Julia Litvin (Dr. Arkady Rapoport). Proud grandfather of Anat Litvina (Uri Naveh), Natasha (Chris) Jablon, Ellen Rapoport (Michael Seitzman) and Dr. Dina (Philip) Block. Dr. Litvin was my professor and mentor in the late 1970s. I went on to have a short but distinguished career in gearing at the Gleason Works. I will always remember him.

I had the honor of having Dr. Litvin as a professor of mechanical engineering. He technical expertise, scientific acumen and body of knowledge were intertwined with professionalism and virtuosity. He was a great man. May his memories forever be a source of blessing and inspiration to the extended Litvin family.
