Shelly, you will be so missed by all who knew you, as a wonderful, funny, loving guy. You and your family have been our neighbors for over 30 years, and our family and best friends for over 50 years. We always needed to come to you for help and advice; you fixed things, told us the funniest jokes, helped us in times of crises. You always knew what to do. You were my Dad's best friend. I know you two are together cracking jokes , doing the chicken dance, and driving around in the Cadillac bat mobile. We love you always, and know we will have your fun wise spirit with us now and forever. xoxoxoxoxo and love to my second family members, who are always in my thoughts. He will always be close to you.

My Uncle Shelly was such an amazing person! He had a wonderful and devious sense of humor. When my sister was married, I was asked to make a speech for a toast to my new brother-in-law and my sister. I had a few drinks prior and I said:
" I hope that you will both have the loving relationship just like our mother and father"! Well, those that knew us well also knew that my parents fought 24-7. I could hear my Uncle Shelly laughing hysterically in the background.
When I was about 13, we moved and had little money for furniture. A cousin of my mother's gave us some and I received an ugly old brown dresser. My Uncle Shelly painted it in different, bright colors and made it into a work of art.
He also video taped my daughter's Jesse and Shari's 1st birthday parties. He would do anything for you if asked.
I miss you more than you know Uncle Shelly, so will many others. Any life you touched was blessed just knowing you.
