Beloved husband of the late Paula Bernstein nee Pfeffer. Devoted father of Avi (Nancy) Bernstein, Dan (Marla Krupman) Bernstein and Karen (Yossi) Shoshana. Proud grandfather of Jessica, Jamie, Jordyn, Noah, Rahm and Tai. Service Friday 12 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Shalom Cemetery. Dear Bernstein Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Your father/grandfather was beloved by so many people, all whom share your loss. Jack was so special to me because he treated all beings with grace and dignity. Without regard to age, gender or species, he related to all. I hope that your many happy memories heal your broken hearts. I have so many memories of your parents, but my happiest is Jack with Sonny. His memory is a blessing.
