The Siegal's were our neighbors in Highland Park for years and years. Paul would always be there to help us and our family in difficult times and we were always very close. He and my mother took myself and Matt to my first rock concert in 1983. He also loaned us his camper one year for us to drive to Door County - I believe it blew up the following year! I will always remember Paul as the dependable and fun one on the block. Thanks for everything, Paul. I won't foget you any time soon. Rest easy.

Paul will be missed by his entire Village Theatre Guild family. I had the pleasure of working with him in our production of "Showtune" several years ago. He was always so dedicated to his role on stage and so attentive to his wonderful wife, Lynn. I am so sorry that I won't be able to attend services as I am working retail all day on Black Friday. My love to his entire family. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Paul was one of the first people I met when I joined the congregation in its second year, and the one who immediately recruited me into the choir. He stood next to me for many years in the tenor section before he moved to the bass, and then moved on. Ann and I shared several meals with the Segal family in those early days and enjoyed their company. We will miss Paul greatly and offer our sympathies to his whole family

I grew up around the corner from The Siegels and spent a lot of time at their house since Gabby and I were always together. He was such a wonderful man and I'm so sorry to everyone who loved him. May his memory be a blessing.

Paul, I will always have fond memories of playing my Tzeitel to your Lazar Wolf. Your smile. Your energy. You will undoubtedly be missed. I'm glad I could say I knew you and performed with you. All is rest now.

Dear Lynn,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Paul's passing. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family on this tragic loss. I recall the many conversations he and I had at VTG, and I always appreciated his incredible compassion for people and his wonderful sense of humor. May his memory forever be an inspiration to you.
Sincerely,
Arnie

I actually have not met Paul, but feel I have a true sense of how wonderful he was. I am a member of Hakafa for about 15 years, and hear it began in his living room. Anyone who helped create something so beautiful as Hakafa, has to have that beauty within him also.
Coincidentally I ended up working with his amazing daughter, Gaby. Again a wonderful person, who also gives me a sense, of how wonderful Paul was.
His memory is a blessing.

I had the delightful experience of playing Paul's wife twice (!) on stage and it was so much fun. His warmth and humor made him someone it was always a joy to be with. And I so much valued his spirituality. His beautiful soul will be an inspiration to all those who knew him.
