I enjoyed getting to know Abe and hearing his wonderful stories at his 100th birthday. He was a vibrant and remarkable man. May his memory be an inspiration and blessing to us all.

I will never forget the kindness Abe showed to me and my late wife, Monica Ross Rotman, during her 8 year illness. He was one of only a few relatives that called regularly to see how we were managing. His caring words and support during this difficult time will never be forgotten.

Remembering Abe is the easiest thing I can do right now. His laughter has always stuck in my mind for its contagion and his soft voice delivering wry humor have stayed with me longer than ephemeral content ever could. Just talking to him filled me with joy. He was well-loved in my family, as with all of you, and, if he can't be here anymore, I'm glad he's with my parents and the other members of their cadre.

Abe was our wonderful neighbor for over 25 years. When I'd see Abe sitting outside, I'd cross the street to talk with him knowing I'd be immersed in historical remembrances, business savvy, political commentary, and "Abe Humor." The last time I was with Abe I sat on his bed, held his hand, and sang to him the Misheberach--the prayer for healing. He opened his eyes, smiled, and said thank you. Thank YOU Abe, for being the treasure of Keeler. Your life remains a blessing to all of us.
