Funeral Details

My every day these past 13/14 years have been wrapped around best friend Benjamin Kauffman. I have learned so much from him about coping, courage and strength having watched him live each day with all the health issues that bewildered him. He also taught me not to judge others...that there is only one judge and He walks not in this this world. Benjamin was so overflowing with an abundance of love and I learned from him how to love unconditionally. He never lacked in expressing his love for others. I will be lost for a long time not having my best friend to look forward to each day. May his soul rest in heavenly bliss.

I got to know Benjie when he was a little boy in day camp (back when Junior Gan Israel was called Gan Israel Tots Camp). Since then, whenever we would see each other, we would have wonderful conversations which would leave me with a huge smile on my face.
