Lillian H. Covitt nee Gilbert, age 90.
Beloved wife the late Daniel Covitt. Adored mother of Lee (Sheryl) Covitt and Gary (Laurie) Covitt. Proud grammie of Steph and Monica. Devoted sister of Marlene (Howard) Zimmerman. Cherished sister in law of the late Marvin Blechman. Fond aunt of Joel (Carol), Sandy (Michelle) and the late Bobby Blechman. Dear great aunt to David, Rachel, Ari and Eve. Co-founder and past president of the Bobby Blechman chapter of City Of Hope, former member and president of the board of education of Skokie School District 73 ½, former president and chairman of the board of Congregation Bnai Emunah prior to the merger with Beth Hillel. Service Friday 10AM at Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah, 3220 Big Tree Lane, Wilmette. Interment Westlawn.
