My mom, Esther Reiss, and your mom sat together at meals at Park Plaza. I had an opportunity to meet your mom when I would visit my mom. Your mom was a delightful woman. In our conversations, she was always so kind to my mother. We talked about recipes and about the food she cooked for her family in her younger years. She was very proud and grateful to have wonderful children. She spoke very lovingly of her husband. She was a role model for aging with grace and compassion. I am grateful for having met her and am most sorry for your loss.

I knew this lovely women before I married her son. She was my mother's beauty shop girlfriend and came over many Saturdays after a day of beautifying ... to enjoy a bit of cake and a cup of tea. I would be flitting around the kitchen getting ready for a date and we would talk. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that she would become my mother in law! Its been a journey I will always hold dear...I love you Mom. My greatest hope is that you are tripping up the light fantastic with Bob and my parents maybe drinking your first martini together.
