Leah Pierce, 93
Died peacefully in her Evanston home on July 24. Beloved aunt of Claire (Tom) Goulding & Laura (LeRoy) Klemt; adoring great aunt of Susan, Jonathan & Alison; proud great-great aunt of Coral; cousin & friend of many. Leah was preceded in death by her parents, Nizzie (nee Behrmann) & Herman Lieberman; brother Saul (Eleanor) Lieberman; and niece Nancy Lieberman. Leah lived a rewarding life, revered in her career as an executive with Exchange National Bank and in retirement, she was active with Road Scholars, The Saints, Meals at Home, Lyric Opera, traveling the world, cheering on her beloved Cubs & Bears, and remaining at the heart of her loving family. Memorial service Tuesday, 2PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie.
