Ralph H. Axelrod, age 96
Ralph passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. He was a highly respected WWII veteran, Shriner and former city of Chicago alderman and undersheriff. Beloved husband for 58 years and survived by Katherine E. Axelrod. Cherished father of Barry Axelrod, Lewis Axelrod, Diane Gayer and Barbara Axelrod. Proud grandfather of Stephen, Greg, Ashley, Brian and Allison Axelrod and Amy Gayer. Adored great grandfather of six. Memorial graveside service Friday, April 17, 2015, 11AM at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 North Ravenswood Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60660.
