Lester "Les" Kalfen age 98.
Loving father of Barbara (Abe) Halegua and the late Marcia (Bernard and Larry (Debbie)) Haspel. Dear grandfather of Jamie, Michelle, Jessica and the late Dori. Great grandfather of Anthony and Nicholas. Dear special uncle, cousin and friend to many. Special thanks to Jeremy Marks and Char Victory. Veteran of WWII. Lester was a kind and generous man of integrity and he will be greatly missed. Service Monday, 3:00 pm at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
